How to pray and what can we do in Mother Sri Aurobindo Ashram Pondicherry

Hello All Mother Devotees !! So you are planning for a trip to Pondicherry to visit Mother Ashram (Annai Ashram in Language Tamil). I have visited several times to Mother Ashram so through Mothers blessing it can be a little help to you on where to go and what to do.

So at first pray to Mother that no obstacles should come to you when you are going for Mother Sri Aurobindo Ashram and ask her to be with you in each and every step you take for it. Mother will arrange everything for you.
So if you are planning to stay for more than a day which is more better then book cottage through Mother Ashram. I will share you the details of it. The best place to stay in pondicherry to have dharshan of Mother.

If you are reaching by noon, then plan to go for evening prayers in Mother Ashram. There are evening prayer conducted in the Ashram on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday . Be there inside ashram by 7PM IST hours evening and the meditation is from 7.25PM to 7.50PM IST hours. You can experience the beautiful devotion there.
Everyday morning 4AM they do flower arrangement on Maha Samadhi of Mother Sri Aurobindo. If its your birthday or any important occasion contact well before the Ashram if you can contribute the amount to Ashram and that day the flower arrangement on Mother Sri Aurobindo Maha Samadhi will be from your donated Money. And if its your birthday they allow you to the Mother Sri Aurobindo Room and you can meditate there for sometime.
When you are inside ashram you see flowers by the way you walk and inside there is the Maha Samadhi of Mother Sri Aurobindo. You can go near the Maha Samadhi and pray by resting your hands and face on it. Thats where you speak to Mother Sri Aurobindo and get their blessings. Near Mahasamadhi is the service tree where it does a great service to Mother by giving a shade. You are not allowed to bring flowers from outside to the ashram. Sit and meditate there for sometime and you will feel no problems are with you and you are at Mothers lotus feet. Near the maha samadhi there is a entrance where you can go inside and see Mother's bed and Mother Sri Aurobindo few very important pictures. Sit there and meditate for sometime. You can also donate money there.
Also near the Maha Samadhi there is a box where you can donate a amount. They will give you a cover where you can place your money and put it inside the box. So take a paper with you when you go to the ashram. Sit there near Maha samadhi write your problems and thank mother for making you come there because Mother loves gratitude and place the amount you wish to donate and pray well. Put it inside the box. You can get books or Mother picture from the Ashram itself. Also there is a shop called Sabda where you can get Mother Books and Pictures stickers and many more. I love Sabda shop, everytime i go i get books and pictures from them.

You can get food from Mother Ashram itself. You can collect the token from Bureau Central. They give you token for Rs.20 INR which is very less they do this as a service. This is for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its the direct blessing from Mother and its so healthy. The address of bureau central is

For sure go to the manakula vinayagar temple near the Ashram because Mother and Vinayagar (Lord Ganesha) had a very good relationship. I had read a article about this somewhere in a book.
Buy Agarpatti (Incense Stick) from the place called Auroshika near Bureau Central. I can give you the address. Its very near to ashram (like 2 or 3 streets from ashram). The Agarpatti no 11 called 'Matipal' is the one Mother likes a lot so i bought a lot of them. But you can buy all agarpati as a set they give you if you ask them.
